A rare red tea from an 1,800-year-old wild (Yeshen) tea tree in the Lincang region of Yunnan Province. This tea was brewed using a special Japanese technology in April 2025 on Mount Da Xue Shan.
This Shai Hong tea essentially combines the characteristics of both white and red teas!
It has an extremely unusual taste and aroma, reminiscent of mango, melon, and other exotic fruits, with a lingering aftertaste and a noticeable acidity. A very powerful and meditative Cha Qi, this tea is ideal for drinking alone. Even a small amount provides up to 10 or more full infusions.
Due to the extremely small number of leaves harvested from this wild tree and the use of a unique Japanese technology in its production, this tea is a true treasure among collectors and connoisseurs!
Perfect for the cold season.
