Gu Shu Bai Cha (sun-dried white tea from ancient pu-erh trees) from the legendary Bindao region of Yunnan Province. This year marks the first time this tea has been produced. Previously, this quality of tea was always used to make Sheng (green) pu-erh and Shai Hong red tea.
The leaves used were from tea trees over 400 years old. The ancient garden is located at an altitude of approximately 1,950 meters above sea level, and the production is entirely organic.
We used the ancient method of sun-drying the leaves, without additional baking on coals or in electric ovens. This white tea already yields over 8 full steeps, has a fruity, sugary flavor, and a lingering aftertaste.
